Bright, sweet and warming | 6.4% Alc vol
Available from November to March
Northern Latitude is a Red IPA brewed with brown sugar for the winter holiday season. It lures you in with a temptingly hoppy nose of orange, tangerine and lemon. It boasts a generous malt character without being sweet, a hint of spice and a balanced finish. A moderately bitter yet assertively aromatic IPA, and a great accompaniment to food.
A little story about
How Northern Latitude came to be
Northern Latitude takes influence from the cold North of the Nordics, where winter days are short and the climate can be harsh and unforgiving. In contrast the people can be warm and friendly, locals are social and hospitable and the food is hearty and sustaining.
Spend some time in Northern Europe and you'll quickly embrace a healthy lifestyle. Despite the extreme climate and geography (or maybe because of it), a lot of time is spent outdoors. After a day of hiking, skiing or just enjoying all that nature has to offer, you can head back to a warm chalet for a simple but delicious meal which will often consist of fish, spices and rye bread, the latter two of which have inspired this warming, flavoursome beer.
